Esta nueva versión de "Levitating" será remezclada por The Blessed Madonna, una DJ, productora y música estadounidense, a quién también se la conocía como The Black Madonna pero se cambió el nombre porque "ha sido un punto de controversia, confusión, dolor y frustración".
A través de sus redes sociales, la cantante mostró su felicidad ante este proyecto que es "un sueño hecho realidad" porque va a poder trabajar con dos de sus idolas.
La noticia llega después de que el gerente de Lipa haya revelado que su equipo estaba tratando de organizar una colaboración con la "Reina del Pop". Ben Mawson habló en una entrevista sobre la influencia de la rubia de 61 años en "Future Nostalgia", citando "Confessions On A Dancefloor" como una gran inspiración para el disco.
Según Martinsville Bulletin, la superestrella pasó dos semanas en Jamaica escribiendo los temas del tracklist de este disco y cuando ya no tenía inspiración, comía donas para elevar sus niveles de energía. Esta pista de funky surgió luego de un "fiebre se azúcar" que la inspiró porque pensaba que "estaba levitando".
El segundo trabajo discográfico de la británica fue presentado en marzo y debutó en el puesto número 4 en la lista Billboard 200 del 10 de abril. El remix de "Levitating" llegará el 14 de agosto.
